I feel an addition is going to be necessary

My hubby and I are debating on putting an addition onto our home, and my buddy and I purchased a household in Birmingham, AL and it does the task good. My buddy and I have one child so far and everyone gets a room. My hubby and I don’t sleep well together. Also my hubby and I each work from household and need our own space. Additionally one guy can have the monitor while the other sleeps, however having our own room is a must have, and our child has a room, my nice friend and I have a small laundry space, and then the rest is family roomaid dining room, i am pregnant with our second child and it is a bit stressful, however do I put baby two in the laundry room? I can move the washer and dryer to my outdoor shed, the issue is that I would hate carrying heavy laundry in and out of the household during a hot, Birmingham day. The A/C is beeping always due to the heat. My buddy and I also live where it is sandy. I would need to wear shoes and leave them outside. I can’t actually ask my baby to share a washer and dryer. So my nice friend and I will need to buy an addition, spend my savings for greater Heating and A/C, replace the electrical panel, most likely do plumbing, and so various more tasks.
