My friends and I went to the theater to see Spider-Man on opening night.
The theater in Tampa Bay was packed with people from one side of the room to the other. There were hardly any places to sit. My friends and I were lucky to get in line early. We ended up with a spot near the back of the Tampa Bay movie theater. Jack and I were seated near the edge of the aisle. We tried not to make it easy for anyone else to come by and crowd the row. Eventually there were no other places to sit and we had to let people come down the row. Shortly after the movie started, I heard someone start sneezing. I also heard someone start coughing. I could hear every noise in the theater until the HVAC machine started running. As soon as the air conditioner started blowing, the music came on and the theater started to light up. The cold temperatures made it difficult to watch the movie without shivering, but it was way better than watching the movie in the Tampa Bay heat. A couple of people were going to wait until the weekend to go to the drive-in movie theater. I didn’t want to sit outside in the heat without any air conditioning, so Jack and I decided to join a couple of friends at the theater. We had a pretty good time, but I got sick a couple of days later and I am pretty sure that I caught it from the person sneezing at the theater.
