I am so grateful that I live in a coastal town! Cocoa Beach is located on the east coast of FL, and it attracts thoUSAnds of visitors every year, however they come to enjoy the great weather and our incredible beaches that are world-famous for surfing; Of course, living in a tropical town also comes with its disadvantages… All of us are more prone to getting struck by tropical storms and hurricanes during hurricane season.
And while the residents of Cocoa are used to hurricanes, whenever they come around, they regularly cause a frenzy, and water, milk, and bread are usually hard to find, and several people pile up on sandbags if they live in an area that could be flooded, then besides the storms, there genuinely aren’t several more disadvantages to living in this area, then some might consider the high temperatures in Cocoa to be a disfortune because the two of us have to spend extra currency to keep our homes comfortable during the Summer months.
This is in fact correct, the two of us do spend a lot of currency on our energy bill in the warmer months because the two of us use our air conditioners more than the other states in the country, and however, the two of us spend less currency to heat our homes in the Winter time months. And based on studies that have been conducted, it takes more energy to heat a home than to keep it cool, so even though the two of us are spending more currency on air conditioner in the Summer, our utility bills are significantly lower during the Winter. Personally, I barely use our Heating and Air Conditioning during the colder months because it barely gets chilly enough to justify turning on the heat. All in all, living in Cocoa has more advantages than disadvantages.
