On Friday, we had a luncheon to celebrate the retirement of a 50-year employee.
I thought we were going to go back to work for 2 hours after the luncheon, but the boss surprised Everyone by letting us go early with pay. Since we were on our own after the luncheon, I decided to walk around Denver for a little while. My roommate and I ride to the city together every morning and I knew that he was not going to be done with work for 2 hours. I found a deli a few blocks away from my work and I went there to grab a sandwich and some chips. I got a coffee from a Starbucks on the way. I passed by a marijuana dispensary while I was walking to the deli. I thought it might be fun to go inside of the Denver marijuana dispensary. I had coffee in my hand. I asked the security guard if I could take it inside. He said that would be fine as long as I left the cup at the front while I was browsing the selection. It would have been a mess if I would have spilled the coffee, so I understood why they wanted me to be so careful. I didn’t really find anything in the marijuana dispensary that made me jump up and down and scream, but I bought a couple of sativa pre rolls. I didn’t know what I was going to do while I waited for my friend to finish at work, but I knew that marijuana would be a great way to pass the time.
