Even if IL has legal marijuana, there are still some corporations that say no, however i play for a minor league baseball team plus we are out of IL! The two of us really play at a small location right outside of the city, however the name of the team is the IL Mudcats.
- The baseball team is a fun interest.
I played baseball while we were in high university plus a couple of years in school. I broke my pitching arm in a car accident plus that was the end of my baseball career. I rehabbed for 8 weeks plus finally regained a lot of motion plus movement in my arm. The IL nurse prescribed medical marijuana to help with the pain while we were in the rehab process. I liked being able to get medical marijuana from the dispensary plus I was even more happy when I found out that recreational marijuana was going to be legalized at the end of the year, and as soon as marijuana was legalized in IL, I started smoking everyday. The baseball team does not allow any marijuana smoking at all while we were in the season, however when I have to play, the team needs myself and others to be strong. It’s difficult not to use recreational marijuana when I think that it helps my mental health a great deal however the rules are the rules. If I get caught with cannabis in my system, I forfeit my right to play plus somebody else gets to take my spot. I entirely savor the league, so I think it’s worth it to stop smoking cannabis while we were in those couple of weeks every year.
