When I was a teenager, I was totally into grunge band music like Nirvana and Pearl jam. When the bands were touring, I told my mom and dad that I wanted to see them play live. My mom and dad were hip and cool and they agreed to travel across the country so my friends and I could see the band perform in their hometown. My dad had just gotten a brand new car. My mom and dad sat in the front seat and my friends and I sat in the back. It was a little crowded, especially making the 12 hour drive. We stopped a couple of times to see different tourist attractions on our way to Seattle. When we arrived in Seattle, my mom and dad took everyone to a hotel. It was late at night when we arrived, but our room was ready. We had a great view of the entire city and I could see the Space Needle and Puget sound. The concert was the next day, so we tried to get a good night of rest. My mom and dad stayed up pretty late. It was their first time in Seattle and the very first time.
