During the Summer months in Cocoa, Florida, it gets so hot that I am tempted to stay home and bask in my air conditioning.
But of course, living in such a beautiful area, there are better ways to pass the time.
For instance, there are tons of coastline within minutes of my home and the beach is always a great place to cool off. In addition to the beach, there are other cool activities that are available and some of which are inside in the air conditioning. A few Summers ago, I took a fun cooking class, as well as a pottery making class. Both classes were inside of buildings that had climate control. This means I can enjoy these activities all year long. It is so important that places like Cocoa have many different options for fun activities. And there needs to be a good balance of both indoor and outdoor activities. Personally, I don’t mind doing things outside, even though the weather does get to be a bit unbearable during the hottest months in the Summer. So, I appreciate that Cocoa has a bunch of fun activities housed inside places with climate control. Some people seem to believe that it doesn’t get cold in Cocoa. Of course, compared to other states, the Winters here are fairly mild. And naturally, during the colder months, most of us are not on the beaches. If I do go out during the colder part of the year, chances are, I am at a movie theater or at a restaurant that has heating and cooling. Or doing another fun activity inside a space with climate control.
