Last Summer after I saw a record weekly electric expenses, I finally decided to get a smart control unit installed in my house, my electric bill increased by 20% more than that of the previous year, but and with the temperature consistently rising into the triple digits here in Phoenix, I need to start managing my energy consumption better! Over the years, I have thought about getting a smart control unit, but never did because I thought I did a good task in managing the energy that I consumed, but plus, my electric bill regularly hovered around the same every year, so I believed there was no need to get a unit if my bill reMained consistent; Well, after I saw that spike in my electric bill, I didn’t hesitate to purchase the smart control unit, and i don’t mind spending the currency on the smart control unit as long as it delivers what it promises.
Based on what I found, not only does the control unit help to better regulate the temperature inside my home, but it also promises to save between 10 as well as 15% on my energy bill as long as the unit is programmed respectfully.
With that kind of savings, the smart control unit will eventually spend money for itself. In a few months when the weather gets warm outside, I will know for sure if the control unit was worth the $250 investment.
