Last year we had a really terrible time with our HVAC system in our house here in Phoenix, AZ.
Honestly, to me it seemed like it was just one problem after another with our heating and cooling system. I don’t know how much we ended up paying out in repair bills, but it was way too much in my opinion. I feel like if you pay a lot of money for a fancy HVAC system like we did, your indoor air quality should be fantastic and you shouldn’t have to worry about it all the time. That wasn’t the case for us, though. I think that what actually ended up happening was that we didn’t have a really good professional installation done. When we were ready to get the installation job done for our new heating and cooling system, the HVAC company that we normally use was all booked up. We weren’t willing to wait because we were just simply so impatient to get our house finished. We really wanted to get moved in and we didn’t want to have to wait around to get the HVAC installation done. And that is when we ended up making the serious mistake of hiring another hvac company to come and do the installation work for us. We never should have done that because we have been paying for it ever since. Your heating and cooling system is only ever as good as the installation service, and we have definitely learned that the hard way over the past couple of years. Last year, when the weather started cooling down, the furnace tore up yet again! Luckily for us, we don’t need a furnace very much here in Phoenix, AZ.
