My brother Dan really loves his job as an HVAC technician at a little HVAC company down in Saint Petersburg FL.
I can’t believe it, but he has been working there for almost 15 years now.
Time really flies when you are having fun, I guess! I can remember when he first moved down to Saint Petersburg FL. My mom and dad and I never thought that he would make it down there on his own. We really thought that he would end up coming back up north to live because he wouldn’t like the heat down there. It turned out that Dan really loves the heat and the sunshine and so he has been singing the praises of living in Saint Petersburg FL for years now. My mom and dad and I have given up on him ever moving back home again! It is sad in a way, but then in another way it’s good because we can all go down there and visit him whenever we feel like it. The local HVAC company that he works for in Saint Petersburg is a really great place to work, too. Dan always says that all of the people down there treat him like family and he has never really been homesick at all. Even though I do miss him sometimes, I am really happy for him. He has always wanted to be a heating and cooling technician, and he is living his dream, I suppose. I guess I never really understood why he wanted to be a heating and cooling technician in the first place, but then again, I am a plumber!
