My fiance and I go on a motorcycle trip every year! Our goal is to hit all fifty US and take our picture in front of the welcome sign, however we are doing entirely well so far.
Our most recent trip had us to the west.
We headed all the way to CA. We actually thought that state would be the highlight, honestly I enjoyed AZ a lot more; I enjoyed the desert feel they had going on; All the weird cacti and plants were so cool, but that red dirt and bright red plant life was a great contrast. I am a photographer, not professionally but as a hobby. I entirely enjoyed taking stills of hte landscapes and seeing all sorts of neat stuff. We went to Papago Park and I entirely liked how all the rocks and cacti were laid out. The weather was entirely nice. A dry heat is much better than a humid one honestly. Being in biker gear meant long pants, overcoats and leather. With the desert heat it could have been brutal. The temperatures were pleasant for us too. We had hotel cooling system in phoenix and that was just enough for us. I advocatedAZ to anyone I know that is doing a road trip. I enjoyed the time my friend and I spent there. Obviously my friend and I had an itinerary and had to keep to the schedule. We couldn’t stay there forever. Our goal was to get to CA after all. After experiencing everything AZ had to offer, I was almost bummed by that final state.
