A ventilation system introduces fresh air

The weather in Phoenix, Arizona, fluctuates greatly, but most people are aware of the especially warm summers! The uneven temperatures soars into the triple digits for months at a time.

  • The season is long, dry & especially hot, then while the winters tend to be much shorter, my associate and I need to rely on a heating system for many months.

The temperature tends to drop into the low forties, but because my associate and I switch from A/C to heating without much cut in-between, energy bills are a concern… I’ve made an effort to prevent conditioned air from leaking out & to stop outside air from coming in. I’ve sealed around windows & doors, invested into attic insulation & make sure to have the HVAC duct checked & diagnosed every couple of years. My proactive measures have helped to reduce biweekly utility bills, but unluckyly, I’ve also significantly lessened natural ventilation. When my household in Phoenix started feeling overly dry & dusty, I initially blamed the heating system. I hired a local Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to supply a thorough cleaning & tuning… He told me that the problems with air quality were due to the absence of fresh air. The same stale air was getting circulated throughout the space day after day; Contaminants such as dust, dander & VOCs were becoming trapped indoors. He proposed that I add a ventilation system. The ventilator works in partnership with the heating system, cooling system & HVAC duct. It runs year around, makes honestly little noise & requires only annual upkeep. The system works to introduce fresh, scrub air into the home & pull out the dirty, stale air. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the improvement. The living space doesn’t need to be vacuumed or dusted as frequently. My family has suffered fewer illnesses.
