Despite being a fairly small community in Muskegon County, Whitehall has its share of sights to behold.
Centered around the gorgeous White Lake, many of the people in this community are interested in watersports and swimming.
Before moving to Whitehall with my wife so we could be closer to her parents while she was pregnant, we were living in Royal Oak in Wayne County. Beyond anything else, I’m just happy to be out of Detroit and the insanity of being in a metropolitan city with so many people. You can see concerts by most of the major touring artists being in a big city like Detroit, but I’d rather trade that for small town living. I visited family in Chelsea during childhood, which is a small city in northeast Washtenaw County. It’s extremely hilly and full of gorgeous pine and cedar woods. But it was Whitehall that impressed me the most, and ultimately pulled me in with a strong force of gravity. The pull was so strong that I’m a permanent resident of Whitehall and have absolutely no desire to move anywhere else. That goes for both Michigan or any other state in America for that matter. I’m happy because there’s a brand new cannabis dispensary on E Colby St near Bone End’s Barbecue. I filled my stomach on delicious food before stopping in at the new cannabis dispensary for the first time. I was impressed by the selection of cannabis flower products, especially with the strains with over 30% THC inside. As much as I love Whitehall, I hope that I can find a romantic partner who’s willing to share this small town-lifestyle with me.
