Someone on the freeway lost a hubcap and it caused a major accident

When I finally got out of San Francisco, I took the back roads the rest of the way home

Thank goodness I stopped at the cannabis dispensary before I headed back home yesterday afternoon. It’s a 35 minute drive from my office to the house, but there is a cannabis dispensary right down the street. I decided to stop at the dispensary so I could pick up a joint to smoke on the way home. It’s a good thing that I did stop for cannabis, because someone on the freeway lost a hubcap and it caused a major accident. We were right outside of San Francisco when the accident occurred. I planned to be home for dinner at 6 p.m., but I was stuck in traffic for an extra hour. I smoked the marijuana joint in the car when traffic was not moving at all. I was feeling frustrated and annoyed, but the recreational marijuana joint made me feel much better. By the time traffic cleared from the accident, I was probably too high to drive the rest of the way home. I wasn’t going to stop on the side of the road and rest after sitting in traffic for an hour, so I did my best to drive safely in the slowest lane on the highway. When I finally got out of San Francisco, I took the back roads the rest of the way home. Even though recreational and medical cannabis is legal in San Francisco and the rest of California, it’s never a good idea to use cannabis and drive a motor vehicle. I definitely won’t make that mistake ever again. I could have caused an accident and hurt someone on the way home from work.
