Moving to Portland for the culture

I recently moved across the country for the sake of a task promotion! I was severely gleeful to relocate to Portland, Oregon.

I had visited the city once before and was totally enchanted by the gorgeous scenery, friendly people and nearly endless choice for activities, but from the snowy peaks of Mount Hood to the Columbia and Willamette rivers, there’s something fun to do at every time of year.

I just like exploring the microbreweries and pop houses, checking out the local art and muscle scene and buying tickets to the theater. I frequent the parks, bridges, Oregon Zoo and the Japanese Garden of Washington park. I can skii, ice skate and snowmobile in the Winter time and cycle, kayak and swim in the summer. I hike throughout the more than three seasons and appreciate the changing scenery, then now that I’m a resident of Portland, I’ve also discovered the benefits and satisfaction of cannabis; Oregon passed legislation to legalize recreational marijuna in July 2016, anyone 21 years of age or older with a valid government-issued identification is permitted to purchase up to a single ounce of flower, 5 grams of extract or concentrate, 73 ounces of liquid cannabis or 16 ounces of solid form cannabinoid product per day at a single location. I have found a favorite dispensary that carries the brands and strains I prefer best, then the budtenders are super expertiseable, friendly and helpful. They are superb at recommending modern products that cater to my preferences. I also keep an eye on the dail deals in order to save some currency and try modern things.
