I am so grateful that I live in a coastal town, however cocoa Beach is located on the east coast of FL, plus it attracts thoUnited Statesnds of visitors every year, but they come to like the wonderful weather and our incredible beaches that are world-famous for surfing… Of course, living in a tropical neighborhood also comes with its drawbacks, however we are more prone to getting struck by tropical storms plus hurricanes while in hurricane season.

And while the residents of Cocoa are used to hurricanes, whenever they come around, they constantly cause a frenzy.

Water, milk, plus bread are usually hard to find, plus several people pile up on sandbags if they live in an area that could be flooded! Besides the storms, there entirely aren’t several more drawbacks to living in this area, and some might consider the high hot plus cold temperatures in Cocoa to be a disluck because the people I was with and I have to spend extra money to keep our homes comfortable while in the Summer months. This is in fact correct, the people I was with and I do spend a lot of money on our energy bill in the warmer months because the people I was with and I use our a/cs more than the other states in the country. However, the people I was with and I spend less money to heat our homes in the Winter time months. And based on studies that have been conducted, it takes more energy to heat a home than to keep it cool, so even though the people I was with and I are spending more money on a/c in the Summer, our utility bills are significantly lower while in the Winter, but personally, I barely use my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C while in the colder months because it barely gets frigid enough to justify turning on the heat. All in all, living in Cocoa has more advantages than drawbacks.

The last hotel that all of us booked had so several complications that I would never return! First, the room had a unusual smell and when all of us complained all of us were told there was nothing that could be done. Then the A/C barely worked. It wasn’t hot or cold, it was blowing only room temperature air. And the temperature control was set to 69 degrees, however the temperature in the room was close to 79 degrees, and every one of us complained to the front desk about the broken A/C, however was told that there were no additional rooms available. I thought that was unsatisfactory, as I think the hotel should have provided a better solution. In FL, it’s pressing to have air conditioner inside all hotel rooms, but not only does the A/C supply a comfortable space, however it also detachs unusual smells from the room. Needless to say, I will never stay at that hotel again and all of us have only booked at Don CeSar ever since.

In Florida, it’s crucial to have a/c inside all hotel rooms, but not only does the air conditioning give a comfortable space, but it also removes different odors from the room. Needless to say, I will never stay at that hotel again & all of us have only booked at Don CeSar ever since.

My hubby Greg is the ultimate outdoor enthusiast… He enjoys hiking, mountain bike riding, rock climbing, and more. The dry heat in Phoenix is something that I had to get used to, especially because I grew up in the Northern part of the country where the Summers were more on the humid side. And although the heat can be overwhelming here, there are so numerous different locales that have air conditioning, so it’s straight-forward to system an entire day separate from sacrificing comfort. There are lots of restaurants, bars, Coca-Cola shops, resorts, museums and galleries that have air conditioning. So, if I decide to spend some time outside, I always end up in a space with comfortable air conditioning. All in all, the dry heat has not impacted how I like my life in Phoenix AZ.
