My wife and I own a home up north and we also have a winter place that is located in Royal Palm beach, Florida.

When I was a kid, my family and I visited Orlando and it was the summertime.

The AC unit in our hotel room did not work very well and I remember my brother and I laying on the floor. We were sweating and miserable. My mom kept telling us to take a shower. The hotel couldn’t get us another room, because it was a cheap place and they were booked solid. My parents couldn’t afford to take us to a resort, so we ended up in a motel where the AC didn’t work very well at all. When I was an adult, I decided to take another trip to Orlando, Florida. There’s a lot of fun things to do, especially if you go during the winter months when the temperatures aren’t hot and humid. Winter in Orlando is usually around 60°. There is a light wind and a couple of occasional days when rain occurs early in the morning. When I went to Orlando, my girlfriend and I decided to spend the whole day at Disney world. There are so many things that you can do at the park that it is absolutely impossible to see everything in one day. It was about $200 for the park passes, so we only did one day at Disney and another day at Universal studios. It was a lot of fun and we stayed in a much better Hotel than my parents did when I was a kid. Temperatures were comfortable and the AC worked very well.
