Outdoor venue is great in St. Petersburg

My mother & I are giant time concert goers, however my nice friend and I are always on the hunt for a modern show; It is really nice that residing in Florida means a lot of giant acts come to us, however sadly most of them are country acts.

  • I don’t really like country music, however the rock bands tend to go to major cities like Tampa or St.

Petersburg… Luckily that is only about a two hour drive for us. So anytime an act goes there, I instantly start texting my mom. My nice friend and I agree that if a band we want to see is in the state of Florida, we will go see them, and driving isn’ta giant deal. It is nice being able to take our pillows, sound machines, snacks & all our clothing possible, then when you fly that isn’t really feasible. St. Petersburg hosts a really nice venue for the concerts. I honestly adore that over Tampa. I am on a list that anytime an act comes to St. Petes, I get an text. My mother & I plan a concert season every year. It usually happens around the summertime. In Florida the summer time cna get quite hot. I honestly wish more bands came when it is cold. The winter season season is more favorable! Yes a lot of the sites are outdoors; But Wouldn’t mind wearing a coat vs sunblock & a hat. The intense heat & humidity tends to be a giant issue after a while. That is the only negative to Florida residing I would say… Other than that, we have ideal weather for outdoor concerts.

Furnace upkeep when you live in Missouri

I own a furnace and the upkeep is a lot.

I live in Springfield, MO and the amount of heating I need is insane.

Most of the year the heater is going at maximum capacity. It hardly gets a break. When it hits the summer season it isn’t exactly warm. It is nice enough that the furnace gets a much deserved break. I make sure to call my local Springfield heating dealership and hire out heating service. With a furnace you really need to prioritize this upkeep. The furnace must be cleaned top to bottom. If you leave this device dirty, it can overheat and light on fire. It can crack the heat exchanger. Not only is this part almost as much as the whole system, but it can release carbon monoxide which is a poisonous, odorless, and tasteless gas. It can hurt you without you even knowing it. Cleaning the device once a year isn’t a big deal when you consider your health and safety. Additionally the furnace tech in Springfield needs to ensure there are no worn or damaged parts. The worst thing would be having a worn part break in the middle of a MO winter. Wouldn’t that be awful? The snow comes down in feet and the roads get icy. It might be days before I could get a Springfield heating business to my household. That is why I ensure that no emergency situations arise with my heating device. I need to make sure everything is in tip top shape for the winter.

Not sure what kind of heater I want

I have been on the hunt for an ideal heating system in South Bend.

I wanted something that would combat the long, brutal winter season.

Thankfully I have a lot of heating experts in Indiana. I found a location that has all sorts of equipment. They have every style of furnace. I could get gas, oil, or electricity. They have hot water and steam boilers. They have heated flooring, hydronic heating, and fireplaces. There are ductless HVAC systems, heat pumps, hybrid heaters, and VRF systems. What should I pick? I will admit that I am leaning towards a boiler. I like that the heating system can hide under my house in the basement. I like that piping can be attached and installed virtually anywhere. It could be hooked to radiators, baseboards or be put in the flooring. Hydronic heating sounds like the classiest option but the most expensive. A boiler isn’t exactly cheap either. It is super expensive but you get it around 50 years though. So after buying a boiler I would need to hook piping to it and redo all of my flooring. That would be such a large cost. Adding the boiler to my baseboards would probably be more cost effective. It isn’t as classy or as good, but might do the job. It is so hard picking a heating system for a home. You don’t know what is going to work for the place and what will last. You aren’t familiar with all the brands and styles. As a woman in her 30s I haven’t been around a lot of heaters.

Glad I bought a heat pump for Alabama

It also is safer and environmentally friendly due to not burning and churning fossil fuels

Since the weather in Tuscaloosa, AL is so mild, I was able to get by with a heat pump system. A heat pump is a two for one HVAC system. You get both heating and cooling functions with one device. The outdoor device is connected via piping and tubing to multiple indoor air handlers throughout the house. Put an air handler with a thermostat in every room of the house and you get zone control. Customized heating and cooling is the way to go. I now don’t have to cool unused rooms in the summer. When I am cooking in the kitchen, I only have to provide AC there in the wintertime. It saves a lot of money and boosts the comfort in the household. A heat pump also eliminates the need for ductwork. With no ductwork you aren’t getting the indoor air quality issues like you are used to. Also the lack of ductwork means less air loss and debris floating in the air. A ductless heat pump should be checked yearly but it often doesn’t need any kind of love. The best part is how the system operates. It moves existing heat energy. It operates like an air conditioner in the summer and in the winter it pumps the outdoor heat inside of the house. This creates cleaner indoor air and is cheaper in operation. It also is safer and environmentally friendly due to not burning and churning fossil fuels. No combustion process or purchasing of fuel necessary. A heat pump is really a nice choice for Alabama homes.
