Recently my son had to do a research paper for her 4th grade class about our town.

I felt that this would be a difficult task, because this town isn’t very big and doesn’t have a fascinating history.

It’s a great place to live, but I’m not sure how I would write 500 words about it myself! My kid surprised me, and got an A on the paper by focusing on notable people that come from this area. Until now I didn’t realize so many great and influential people came out of Lowell, Michigan! The one that I did know was Anthony Kiedis, who is the lead singer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Everyone in Lowell knows Keidis, because of his music and because we were all huge cannabis smokers in high school. Marijuana and Chili Peppers music just goes together, and every teenager from Lowell knew that. What I didn’t know was that Anne Rule, one of the greatest non-fiction crime writers in history, was born in Lowell. William Seward Burroughs invented the adding machine and founded the Burroughs corporation, and he graduated from Lowell High School! His grandson was William S Burroughs, a major part of the Beat Poetry movement, although he wasn’t born in Lowell he still has family roots here. Another famous graduate of Lowell High is the fashion designer Daniel Vosovic! I was smoking marijuana as I read my kid’s paper, and then spent the next three hours researching the history of Lowell online. Maybe the sleepy town of Lowell, Michigan is cooler than I thought it was.

My coworkers and I work in downtown Denver at an office building.

On Friday, we had a luncheon to celebrate the retirement of a 50-year employee.

I thought we were going to go back to work for 2 hours after the luncheon, but the boss surprised Everyone by letting us go early with pay. Since we were on our own after the luncheon, I decided to walk around Denver for a little while. My roommate and I ride to the city together every morning and I knew that he was not going to be done with work for 2 hours. I found a deli a few blocks away from my work and I went there to grab a sandwich and some chips. I got a coffee from a Starbucks on the way. Alsip is about 45 minutes outside of chicago.

The school’s in Alsip are much better than the schools in the city. Alsip is still located in Cook county. When my wife and I decided to move out of the city, it was one of the best decisions that we ever made. We took both of our children out of school and we moved away from the crime and the hustle and bustle of the city. We bought a house in Cook County that is technically outside of Alsip, but the kids still get to go to school in the district. I still work in Chicago and my wife stays home with the kids now. When I was a kid, I loved going outside.

I would spend all day outdoors hanging out with my friends.

We would ride our bikes all over the neighborhood and go to the river or the creek. My mom saw me once during the day when I came home for lunch and most of the time I brought friends with me. My mom always had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ramen noodles. Sometimes we even had grilled cheese and tomato soup. I loved the summer months when we were out of school and I didn’t mind that heat and humidity at all. As an adult, I find the heat and humidity to be absolutely dreadful. Some days I wonder why I ever chose an occupation that has me outside all of the time. I went to technical school and learned the trade of heating, ac, and refrigeration repair services. However, we spend less money to heat our homes in the Winter months

I am so grateful that I live in a coastal town. Cocoa Beach is located on the east coast of Florida, and it attracts thousands of visitors every year. They come to enjoy the great weather as well as our incredible beaches that are world-famous for surfing. Of course, living in a tropical city also comes with its disadvantages. We are more prone to getting struck by tropical storms and hurricanes during hurricane season. And while the residents of Cocoa are used to hurricanes, whenever they come around, they always cause a frenzy. Water, milk, and bread are usually hard to find, and many people pile up on sandbags if they live in an area that could be flooded. Besides the storms, there really aren’t many more disadvantages to living in this area. Some might consider the high temperatures in Cocoa to be a disadvantage because we have to spend extra money to keep our homes comfortable during the Summer months. This is in fact correct, we do spend a lot of money on our energy bill in the warmer months because we use our air conditioners more than the other states in the country. However, we spend less money to heat our homes in the Winter months. And based on studies that have been conducted, it takes more energy to heat a home than to keep it cool, so even though we are spending more money on air conditioning in the Summer, our energy bills are significantly lower during the Winter. Personally, I barely use my HVAC during the colder months because it barely gets cold enough to justify turning on the heat. All in all, living in Cocoa has more advantages than disadvantages.

I told my wife that it was not financially prudent for us to get a second car.

She insisted that it was necessary.

She was tired of taking the bus to work. She was close enough to take the bus. I had to work in Phoenix everyday for an HVAC repair business. I was trying to get the boss to give me a work truck to take home every night, but I am 33 miles from the Phoenix store location and the boss doesn’t want to fork over that much money for gas. The interest rate is actually very low. The only problem is that my wife wanted a Lexus instead of a Ford and that is the difference between a $700 payment and a $300 payment. Now we’re having trouble with the roof and the only way to pay for the repairs is to get rid of the second car and go back to one car and one payment.

My best acquaintance Lisa as well as I had a beach weekend planned for weeks to visit our number one beach in St.

Petersburg FL, and of course, the two of us chose the best hotel situated right on the beach… There is nothing better than an oceanfront hotel because it’s easier to access the beach.

And there are more than 2 incredible hotels on St. Pete Beach including the Don CeSar, which is an fancy spa resort with more than 2 pools, more than 2 steakhouses, as well as much more! I have stayed at other hotels on St. Pete Beach before, but in my opinion, Don CeSar is 1 of the best. The last hotel that the two of us booked had so more than 2 troubles that I would never return, then first, the room had a peculiar odor as well as when the two of us complained the two of us were told there was nothing that could be done. Then the air conditioner barely worked. It wasn’t tepid or cold, it was blowing only room temperature air. And the control device was set to 70 degrees, but the temperature in the room was close to 69 degrees. The two of us complained to the front desk about the broken A/C, but was told that there were no additional rooms available. I thought that was unsatisfactory, as I suppose the hotel should have offered a better solution. In FL, it’s important to have A/C inside all hotel rooms, then not only does the A/C deliver a comfortable space, but it also removes peculiar odors from the room. Needless to say, I will never stay at that hotel again as well as the two of us have only booked at Don CeSar ever since.

My hubby Greg is the ultimate outdoor enthusiast, and he enjoys hiking, mountain bike riding, rock climbing, plus more.

He also loves other recreational activities that include golfing, fishing, swimming, kayaking plus any interest on the water, but so, it’s easy to see why all of us live in Phoenix Arizona because he can have access to all of these activities for most of the year; Due to the weather in Phoenix, it is a perfect neighborhood for residents plus visitors alike who care about spending time in nature… While I am not a fan of the outdoors enjoy my hubby, I do care about hitting the hiking trails in the afternoons when the weather is cooler outside, and the people I was with and I visit South Mountain Park Preserve at least twice per week to either hike or ride our mountain bikes, however outdoor activities are great, plus I love getting the exercise, but to be honest, I prefer spending my time luxuriating in an air conditioned spa or sitting underneath a cabana by a pool with a cocktail in hand.

The dry heat in Phoenix is something that I had to get used to, especially because I grew up in the Northern part of the country where the Summers were more on the humid side, and although the heat can be overwhelming here, there are so several weird places that have air conditioner, so it’s easy to program an entire day without sacrificing comfort. There are lots of restaurants, bars, Tim Hortons Coffee shops, resorts, museums plus galleries that have air conditioner. So, if I decide to spend some time outside, I typically end up in a space with comfortable air conditioner. All in all, the dry heat has not impacted how I care about my life in Phoenix Arizona.
